Manuel Margot moving to Tampa Bay's bench Wednesday
Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Manuel Margot is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Logan Gilbert and the Seattle Mariners.
Margot appears to be getting a maintenance day after starting the last three games and four of the last five for Tampa Bay. Kevin Kiermaier is replacing Margot in center field on Wednesday afternoon and hitting seventh. Brandon Lowe is back at the top of the order after batting seventh on Tuesday against a lefty.
numberFire’s models project Kiermaier for 7.8 FanDuel points and he has a $2,200 salary on Wednesday. Lowe ($3,300) is projected for 11.2 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Rays have an implied total of 4.4 runs. Gilbert is registering a 28.4 strikeout percentage with a 5.4 walk percentage this season.
