Zack Short sitting for Tigers Tuesday
Detroit Tigers infielder Zack Short is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's series opener against right-hander Garrett Richards and the Boston Red Sox.
Short is sitting for the second time in the last four games and he has gone hitless in four straight appearances. Harold Castro is moving to shortstop Tuesday in place of Short while Willi Castro makes a start on second base and bats eighth.
numberFire’s models project Harold for 7.4 FanDuel points and he has a $2,100 salary on Tuesday. Willi ($2,300) is projected for 9.2 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Tigers have an implied total of 4.6 runs.
