Athletics' Tony Kemp in left field Monday
Oakland Athletics second baseman/left fielder Tony Kemp will start in Monday's series opener against left-hander Rich Hill and the Tampa Bay Rays.
Kemp will start in left field and hit ninth. He is 3-for-20 (.150) this season. Mark Canha will slide to center field while Ramon Laureano plays the designated hitter. Jed Lowrie will man second base and Vimael Machin will sit.
