J.D. Davis (hand) out of Mets' lineup Wednesday
New York Mets third baseman J.D. Davis (hand) is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Aaron Nola and the Philadelphia Phillies.
Davis was struck in the hand by a fastball on Tuesday night. X-rays came back negative and he's considered day-to-day. Luis Guillorme will start on third base Wednesday and hit eighth.
numberFire’s models project Davis for 8.3 FanDuel points versus the Phillies and he has a salary of $2,100 on Wednesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Mets have an implied total of 3.9 runs.
