Nelson Cruz (knee) back for Twins on Friday
Minnesota Twins designated hitter Nelson Cruz (knee) is back for Friday's series opener against right-hander Tyler Mahle and the Cincinnati Reds.
What It Means:
Cruz will bat third as the Twins' DH in his first game in a week because of a sore right knee. Eddie Rosario will shift to left field in place of Jake Cave. Max Kepler will move up to the leadoff spot and Josh Donaldson will move up to second in the order. Byron Buxton will drop to fifth.
