Jacob Stallings sitting for Pittsburgh's first game Friday
Pittsburgh Pirates catcher Jacob Stallings will not start in the first game of Friday's doubleheader versus right-hander Carlos Martinez and the St. Louis Cardinals.
Stallings went 1-for-3 with an RBI double in a win over the Cardinals on Thursday. John Ryan Murphy will catch Trevor Williams and hit ninth in the first game. Stallings will likely make the start in Game 2.
numberFire's models expect Murphy to score 3.0 FanDuel points on Friday in Game 1 with a salary of $2,000. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Pirates currently have an implied total of 3.11 runs.
