Padres' Jake Cronenworth on second base Monday
San Diego Padres infielder Jake Cronenworth is starting in Monday night's series opener against right-hander Dustin May and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Cronenworth will man second base and bat seventh. Jurickson Profar will play designated hitter out of the nine-hole. Tommy Pham will cover left field in place of Edward Olivares and bat cleanup. Trent Grisham and Manny Machado are lined up in the 2-3 spots in the order.
