Travis Demeritte sitting Sunday for Tigers
The Detroit Tigers did not include Travis Demeritte as a starter for Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
What It Means:
Demeritte started yesterday's game in right field, but will sit out today in favor of left-fielder Christin Stewart while Victor Reyes will move into right field.
Demeritte has more or less picked up where he left off in his 2019 rookie season despite some injury woes this offseason, with a 0.633 OPS over his 10 plate appearances this season.
