Robinson Cano on Mets' bench Thursday
New York Mets second baseman Robinson Cano is not starting in Thursday's series finale versus left-hander Martin Perez and the Boston Red Sox.
Brian Dozier will replace Cano on second base and bat seventh in his Mets debut. Cano has multiple hits in back-to-back games after starting the year 1-for-12.
numberFire's models expect Cano to post a .271 batting average and .769 OPS with 6 homers and 21 RBI over the rest of the season.
