Mets' Jed Lowrie (knee) moving out of brace
New York Mets second baseman Jed Lowrie (knee) "continues to transition out of his brace," Mets general manager Brodie Van Wagenen said Monday.
Lowrie, who basically missed his entire first season with the Mets due to knee, calf, hip and hamstring injuries, was still recovering from a left knee operation when spring training initially began back in February. Lowrie will likely be a limited contributor for the Mets this season if he gets cleared. The veteran second baseman turned 36 in April.
Per FanDuel Sportsbook, the Mets have the eighth-best odds (+2200) to win the 2020 World Series.
