Giants' Evan Longoria (foot) expected to be out at least two weeks
San Francisco Giants third baseman Evan Longoria (foot) believes he will be out two weeks to a month with a left foot strain.
Longoria was placed on the IL Tuesday and will likely be out until August at the earliest. The veteran infielder will be replaced in the lineup and field by Pablo Sandoval.
Longoria is slashing .241/.318/.446 with 13 homers and 39 RBI over 311 plate appearances this season.
