Shohei Ohtani (finger) expected to sit again Thursday for Angels
Los Angeles Angels designated hitter Shohei Ohtani (finger) is not expected to be in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Minnesota Twins.
What It Means:
Ohtani was not in the lineup for Wednesday's scheduled game versus the Twins at Angel Stadium, but the contest was postponed until Thursday afternoon due to poor field conditions. Angels manager Brad Ausmus indicated he will use the same lineup in the makeup game, so look for Ohtani to return for Friday's series opener against the Texas Rangers. The 24-year old took a pitch off his finger on Monday night, but was able to play on Tuesday.
