New York Mets pitcher Jacob deGrom (elbow) will fly back to New York to undergo an MRI.
What It Means:
After experiencing a sore elbow while playing catch, deGrom will need an MRI and will miss his next start on Saturday. Expect the Mets to name a new starting pitcher for tomorrow's game soon.
In 22.0 innings pitched, deGrom produced a 3.68 ERA and 36 strikeouts.
