Angels' Andrew Heaney bothered by elbow again
Los Angeles Angels starting pitcher Andrew Heaney felt renewed discomfort in his left elbow while throwing a recent side session.
Heaney is visiting a specialist, per Angels manager Brad Ausmus, who admitted to being "a little concerned" about the injury. The 27-year-old is already opening the year on the injured list, but it appears his stay will now be extended.
Prior to this announcement, numberFire's models currently expect Heaney to record a 4.08 ERA and 1.22 WHIP with 164 strikeouts and 41 walks across 170 innings in 2019.
