Trevor May, Blake Parker to share save chances for Twins

Minnesota Twins relievers Trevor May and Blake Parker will both "accumulate some saves this year," manager Rocco Baldelli said.

What It Means:

Baldelli added that either right-hander could be used "very, very late in the game on Opening Day" and that certain situations throughout the year could call for Taylor Rogers or Trevor Hildenberger to close things for the Twins. He didn't rule out eventually settling on one person to handle things in the ninth.

numberFire's models currently expect May to record a 3.89 ERA and 75 strikeouts with 13 saves this season while Parker is pegged for a 3.67 ERA with 75 strikeouts and 15 saves.
