Mets' Wilson Ramos avoids serious hand injury
New York Mets catcher Wilson Ramos' X-rays on his right hand came back negative.
Ramos exited early Sunday after a ball plunked him in the hand, but he will be fine for Opening Day. The 31-year-old backstop signed with the Mets this past December.
Ramos slashed .306/.358/.487 with 15 home runs, 70 RBI, and 39 runs scored across 416 plate appearances between the Tampa Bay Rays and Philadelphia Phillies last season.
