4 Daily Fantasy Baseball Stacks for 6/7/16

With Yordano Ventura continuing to struggle, the Baltimore Orioles' high-flying offense could be in position to resume its ball-bashing ways.

Stacking can be a controversial topic in many daily fantasy sports, but you can count baseball as a glaring exception. Here, it's universal.

Using multiple players on the same team on a given day presents you with the opportunity to double dip. If one of your players hits an RBI double, there's a good chance he drove in another one of your guys. When you get the points for both the run and the RBI, you'll be climbing the leaderboards fast.

Each day here on numberFire, we'll go through four offenses ripe for the stacking. They could have a great matchup, be in a great park, or just have a lot of quality sticks in the lineup, but these are the offenses primed for big days that you may want a piece of.

Premium members can use our new stacking feature to customize their stacks within their optimal lineups for the day, choosing the team you want to stack and how many players you want to include. You can also check out our hitting heat map, which provides an illustration of which offenses have the best combination of matchup and potency.

Now, let's get to the stacks. Here are the teams you should be targeting in daily fantasy baseball today.

Baltimore Orioles

If the Kansas City Royals weren't baseball's dramatic interpretation of The Walking Dead, they'd be in play here, and you should probably get exposure to a few of their sticks. The Baltimore Orioles are healthy, lively, and ready to bop against a struggling Yordano Ventura.

There have been times this year when Ventura has looked like he was turning it around, but those have been fairly rare. His season-long SIERA is 5.60, and when we narrow the scope to the last five games, it only improves to 5.25. His strikeout rate over that span is 11.7%, eliminating one of the weaknesses from the Orioles' offense, and it just seems like we need to keep pounding Ventura until he gives us reason not to.

For whatever reason, Hyun Soo Kim's price still hasn't budged. He's $2,700 on FanDuel and $3,700 on DraftKings even though he's batting second for one of the best offenses in the league in one of the best parks. His hard-hit rate for the year is 35.6%, a number that jumps to 46.9% with a 34.4% fly-ball rate when we look just at the 45 plate appearances since he became an every-day starter. What's even better? Dude's bat flip game is already elite.

That's some illitude you'll likely want on your rosters tonight.
