In snagging Jonathan Lucroy and Carlos Beltran, the Rangers acquired two batters with hard-hit rates above 35.0% for the season. Their only regulars who hit that mark prior to the acquisitions were Rougned Odor and Mitch Moreland (plus Shin-Soo Choo, when he was healthy). The Rangers appeared bound for regression before, and now each and every single batter in their lineup is more valuable than he was on Sunday.

This is going to make it even more important to monitor the Rangers' lineup on a daily basis. If there's a low-priced guy hitting leadoff in just a decent matchup, you'll likely want him on your roster. The middle of the order should have abundant opportunities to bring runners home, meaning even some of the higher-priced guys are now values. These salaries are going to rise quickly with Lucroy and Beltran in town, and it's important to invest before that takes full effect.
