Nelson Cruz, OF, Seattle Mariners

FanDuel Price: $4,100

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Nelson Cruz and the Mariners are projected for just 3.9 runs tonight -- the eighth-lowest mark on the slate. With lots of other outfield options in good spots, Cruz will likely fly under-the-radar tonight.

Why You Should Use Him:

Cruz is two games removed from a two-homer, seven-RBI game and now has multi-hit games in three of his past five contests. He'll look to stay hot in tonight's matchup against southpaw Francisco Liriano.

Liriano has pitched a bit better lately but still has a 4.96 ERA on the year and a 5.36 ERA since June. He's been much worse against right-handed pitching this season too, posting a 4.58 xFIP against them.

Cruz, a righty, has crushed lefties this season, elevating his slugging percentage by 196 points, his ISO by 162 points, his wOBA by 70 points, and his hard-hit rate by 8.6 percent from his marks against left-handers.

Cruz is in a great spot for production tonight, even if Liriano is able to hold the Mariners offense in check. He's a viable play in any format.
