Albert Pujols, 1B, Los Angeles Angels

FanDuel Price: $3,800

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Today's slate features Anthony Rizzo, David Ortiz, Edwin Encarnacion, Chris Davis, and Hanley Ramirez all in excellent matchups tonight. With just the 13th-highest implied team total, don't expect many Angels -- including Albert Pujols -- to be popular options.

Why You Should Use Him:

Pujols collected another three hits and four RBI last night, marking his fourth multi-hit game in his past eight, and his third game with at least four RBI during that stretch. He'll have a good shot to continue his resurgence in tonight's matchup with Dillon Gee.

Gee has only went an average of 4.2 innings in his five starts this season and has posted a 5.87 ERA as a starter. Gee has pitched better against righties in his career, but with the way he has pitched lately, a same-handedness matchup can be ignored tonight.

Pujols has hit lefties slightly better for his career but posted stronger numbers against righties in every season from 2013 until 2015. He has also crushed the Royals historically, with a career .319 batting average and .613 slugging percentage at Kauffman Stadium, which helps alleviate concerns over the Royals' uninviting Park Factor.

The previously mentioned first basemen are better cash game options tonight, but don't forget about Pujols in tournaments. He has shown the ability to blow up when he's locked in recently, and tonight's matchup with Gee could result in another explosive performance.
