Why He Will Go Overlooked:
Third base is loaded tonight. Josh Donaldson and the Jays have the highest implied team total on the slate. Manny Machado and Kris Bryant are also in good spots according to Vegas, while Jake Lamb has an awesome individual matchup. With all the viable options at his position and just the 10th-highest implied team total, Nolan Arenado will more than likely go overlooked tonight.
Why You Should Use Him:
Arenado has really been hitting the ball well recently, with four extra-base hits in his last three games. He should be able to stay hot in tonight's matchup against Yovani Gallardo. Gallardo has a 5.69 ERA on the year and has pitched worse at Camden Yards, posting an elevated 5.90 xFIP.
In his career, Arenado has actually hit right-handed pitching better than left-handed pitching, posting a higher ISO, slugging percentage, and hard-hit rate.
Considering Vegas has Colorado projected for 4.4 runs, he's hard to give serious consideration to with some of the other excellent third base options. Give him a long look in tournaments, though.
