Kendrys Morales, 1B, Kansas City Royals

FanDuel Price: $3,700

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Kendrys Morales has been horrible for most of the season and is always overlooked among the daily fantasy community. With Ryan Zimmerman and Chris Davis in good, on-paper matchups, don't expect Morales to be on many rosters.

Why You Should Use Him:

Morales has absolutely torn the cover off the ball over the past two weeks, hitting .571 with a .914 slugging percentage and a 60.6 percent hard-hit rate. He's averaged 21.3 FanDuel points per start during that span. He should be starting in the outfield and hitting in the heart of the order once again for Kansas City in tonight's inter-league matchup against Mike Leake and the Cardinals.

The month of June has not been friendly to Leake, who has a 5.56 ERA and 1.54 WHIP in four starts. Leake has also allowed lefties to post better numbers against him than righties in his career.

Morales, a switch-hitter, will hit from the left-side tonight against Leake. In his career, he has posted better numbers when hitting against right-handed pitching.

He's one of the hottest hitters on tonight's slate and is in an advantageous matchup, yet he will likely see low ownership. He's a viable option in any format tonight.
