Mitch Moreland has shown some impressive power against righties on the season, with a .201 isolated slugging and 35.3 percent hard-hit rate, and has generally been solid against righties over his whole career, with a .263/.326/.465 slash.

Those numbers make tonight's matchup with the right-handed Ivan Nova an appealing one, especially because Nova has really struggled with left-handed hitters this season, posting a 4.34 xFIP, which comes after a 2015 season that saw him post an even worse 5.29 xFIP against lefties.
