Logan Forsythe is having the best year of his career from the plate, hitting a .288/.360/.469 slash with a .358 wOBA. He also has a very strong 34.7 percent hard-hit rate against right-handed pitchers on the year. He has been especially good against left-handed pitching, with a huge .452 wOBA and .300 isolated slugging.

He will likely be hitting leadoff tonight against Eduardo Rodriguez and the Red Sox, giving a nice boost to his value. Rodriguez has a 4.36 SIERA through 26 games in his career and has been brutal against right-handed hitters this season, allowing a .387 wOBA with a 5.71 xFIP.
