Even before Los Angeles Angels starter Jhoulys Chacin started his recent scuffles, he had issues retiring left-handed batters. Between Marwin Gonzalez, Colby Rasmus, and Luis Valbuena, the Houston Astros have a few tasty ones, and you can get Valbuena on the cheap tonight.

Chacin has been fine against right-handed batters this year, striking out 23.3% of them and holding their hard-hit rate down at 29.0%. Lefties have been a different story as they are only striking out 12.7% of the time while making hard contact at a 34.8% rate. That combination will get him in trouble outside of Angel Stadium, especially at Minute Maid Park, the eighth-best park for dingers in the league.

Valbuena has just kept on mashing this year with a 38.7% hard-hit rate and 41.0% fly-ball rate against right-handed pitching. You don't see numbers that good at a price this low often, but you do get it in a quality matchup today. The Astros' batting order will play a big role in determining where the value lies, but as long as Valbuena is in the top six, he should be on your radar.
