I already went over the favorable park and pitching matchup for Marlins' hitters, and all of that applies here.

Giancarlo Stanton is having an uncharacteristically terrible season, which our own Brad Leibfried dissected earlier this week.

With a .197 batting average, Stanton has fallen below the Mendoza line, but that's coming on a .247 BABIP despite posting a 40.4% hard-hit rate. The low BABIP is by far a career-worst clip and significantly below his career average of .323.

With the way he's making contact, Stanton will likely turn things around at some point. He's coming off of a 2015 season in which he posted a career-high .341 ISO, and even in this brutal season, he still has huge upside. Now, he comes at a much cheaper price.
