Kyle Seager, 3B, Seattle Mariners

FanDuel Price: $3,800

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Eventually, people will wise up and realize that Kyle Seager is a monster. Until then, continue to enjoy his services at low ownership. With Nolan Arenado's Rockies projected for 6.5 runs against Alfredo Simon and little to pay up for at starting pitcher, it seems unlikely that Seager is highly owned. Arenado was owned by over 80 percent on most contests, and ran into the 90s in some yesterday. He likely won't be that high again, but he is almost sure to be the chalk.

Why You Should Use Him:

Seager has been especially hot recently -- totaling 91.2 FanDuel points in his last three games -- but he's actually sustained this hot streak for over a month now. Since April 24th, Seager has a .453 wOBA, .295 ISO, and .659 slugging percentage. He has just two more strikeouts than walks over that span, and has posted a 40.5 percent hard-hit rate, proving he is clearly locked in at the plate.

While Seager is always worth a look while he's this hot, that's especially true when he's facing a susceptible right-handed pitcher. His opponent today, Colin Rea, isn't as vulnerable of a pitcher as some of the names on today's slate, but his 4.91 SIERA this season can certainly be targeted.

Arenado certainly has big upside at Coors, but he has shown the tendency to bust, as he did last night. From a game theory perspective, it makes so much more sense to pivot down to Seager, who not only is cheaper, but will be owned by far less of the field. Give him a long look in tournaments tonight.
