Nolan Arenado, 3B, Colorado Rockies

Price: $4,900

We're not going to pass up many opportunities to play Nolan Arenado at Coors Field against a southpaw.

In that split -- at home against lefties -- Arenado has an absurd .542 wOBA and .448 ISO over 193 plate appearances dating back to the start of the 2017 season. Even if we expand the sample to look at his entire career (517 plate appearances) we see a .482 wOBA and .376 ISO.

Robbie Ray may be a guy who is often in play in DFS, but that typically comes from his upside. The other side of his volatility also makes him a pitcher to target hitters against.

His 12.5% walk rate in 2019 isn't much better than his 13.3% from last year, and his drop in strikeout rate (31.4% to 27.2%) comes with a drop in swinging-strike rate (12.8% to 11.5%).

He's also giving up a hard-hit rate north of 40% for the third-straight season. Combining that with a 40.8% fly-ball rate is especially worrying in the thin air at Coors Field, where it doesn't take much for a fly-ball to turn into a home run.
