Tim Anderson, SS, Chicago White Sox

FanDuel Price: $4,100

With windy conditions potentially signalling some offensive on the horizon, and an over/under of 9.0 runs to certainly reflect that, the Chicago White Sox and their healthy implied team total of 4.71 runs could see some heavy ownership.

Stud short stop Tim Anderson carries a .985 OPS into this contest, but investing in the pricey player could be a bad idea. While Anderson smacked lefties around in 2018 (.192 ISO), he recorded a pretty average .333 wOBA in this split over 166 plate appearances.

Daniel Norris, the Detroit Tigers starter and Anderson's opposing arm, has been solid against righties in his career. Covering 223 innings, the southpaw has allowed a .333 wOBA, and he actually allows more home runs per plate appearances to lefties (1 per 19.8) than he does to righties (1 per 36.3).

Anderson could be a strong choice, but there's a few factors that make him a decent option to fade.
