Marwin Gonzalez, 3B, Minnesota Twins

Price: $2,200

He may not have the dangerous bat that Cron does, but Marwin Gonzalez gives you access to the middle of the lineup that boasts the day's highest implied total for only $200 above the minimum. That's worth something.

As a switch-hitter he'll get the platoon advantage against Cobb, and over his career, he's made slightly harder contact and has a slightly higher wOBA against right-handed pitching, so this seems to be his favored side of the dish.

He's struggled to the tune of a .215 wOBA this season, but like we saw for Williams, those struggles don't mean much over such a small sample size (71 plate appearances). That's especially true with Gonzalez, who is sporting a lowly .213 batting average on balls in play (BABIP), which we can expect to regress in a big way, likely ending up right around his .301 mark from last year and .307 career average.

Gonzalez' bat isn't anything to get excited about, but the price tag and situation are. He and Cron make stacking the high-upside Twins a fairly inexpensive move tonight.
