Eugenio Suarez, 3B, Cincinnati Reds

The Cincinnati Reds have gotten off to a rocky start, but Eugenio Suarez has been a solid performer. On the season, he owns a .367 wOBA, and his batting eye has remained strong with a 14.5% walk rate.

As Cincinnati travels west to face the San Diego Padres, they have a tall order in rookie hurler Chris Paddack. Paddack has been brilliant so far this season, and he has made life miserable for same-sided bats, who have notched just a .134 wOBA, 34.6% strikeout rate, and 2.98 xFIP.

The Reds will look to begin their climb out of the NL Central basement, and they will need to be at their best against the Padres' young arm, but don't bet on Suarez paying off his price tag tonight.
