3 Under-the-Radar MLB FanDuel Plays for 9/28/18

The Coors Field game will naturally garner a good chunk of ownership tonight, but we shouldn't overlook the Oakland Athletics' spot against Jaime Barria.

Barria is a fairly typical example of a guy with a solid ERA, but without the peripherals to back it up. A 4.75 SIERA and 18.2% strikeout rate doesn't sound like a guy who should be holding a 3.54 ERA, and perhaps he's lucked out with a .278 BABIP. But what makes Barria particularly intriguing to attack is he's allowing a 37.2% hard-hit rate and 43.0% fly-ball rate, which should give a power team like the Athletics plenty of opportunities for dingers.

Naturally, MLB home run leader Khris Davis is our best bet, who has 47 dingers off a stellar 45.0% hard-hit rate and 48.3% fly-ball, leaving him with a .396 xwOBA and .302 ISO. If you're looking for a non-Coors stack tonight, Davis and the A's are a great way to go.
