If you don't need a play quite as cheap as Heyward, there are other ways to get exposure to the Cubs' lineup and their great matchup against Nova. One example is Ben Zobrist, who has a .358 wOBA in 2018, compared to Hayward's paltry .319.

If we just look at Zobrist's numbers against right-handed pitching, the switch-hitter sees his wOBA jump to .360 and his ISO to .155, which comes on a 34.1% hard-hit and 10.1% soft-hit rate.

You don't get quite the same savings as you do with Hayward, but Zobrist does offer a better floor and ceiling.
