Walker Buehler has been brilliant this season, posting a 3.15 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) over 124 1/3 innings pitched. The rookie has been particularly nasty against lefties, holding them to a .247 weighted on-base average (wOBA) with a 31.7% strikeout rate.

The bad news gets worse for the Arizona Diamondbacks, who rank last against right-handed pitching in batting average (.229) and fifth-worst in wOBA (.300).

The switch-hitting Ketel Marte has been particularly poor against lefties, owning a .276 wOBA and identical 30.6% hard-hit and fly-ball rates in the split. Despite a three-RBI effort last night, Marte isn't a good play today.
