Victor Robles, OF, Washington Nationals

Price: $2,200

Victor Robles has started (and been batting leadoff) for two of the Washington Nationals' last three games, and he figures to continue to get plenty of run with the Nats all but out of playoff contention. That being said, do check to make sure he's in the lineup before you roll with him in DFS tonight.

The Nationals' 4.90 implied total is Thursday's second-highest mark, and they draw a great matchup against New York Mets southpaw Jason Vargas, whose 4.48 SIERA doesn't inspire any confidence, especially when you factor in the 4.86 SIERA he posted in 2017 as well as his career-average clip of 4.53.

Robles has made just 29 Major League plate appearances this season to go with 27 plate appearances in 2017. He hasn't produced especially well in that small sample, with a .304 wOBA, but there's still plenty of room for optimism. He has shown some serious base-stealing chops in the minors, with 14 steals in 40 Triple-A games this year to go with 11 swipes in 37 Double-A games and 16 in 77 High-A games in 2017. That kind of speed gives him plenty of upside, especially while batting leadoff in a well-positioned offense.

For only $200 above minimum-salary, Robles is a top value option on a slate where those are hard to come by.
