David Bote, 3B, Chicago Cubs

With superstar Kris Bryant shelved due to injury, David Bote has stepped up for the Chicago Cubs in his absence, and he's smacked 6 homers over 139 plate appearances this year.

The problem for Bote is that he faces a nasty right-hander in Mike Foltynewicz, and that's not where the young third baseman is at his best. This season, Bote owns a 27.4% fly-ball rate and .323 wOBA in the platoon split.

Foltynewicz, meanwhile, has been dominant against same-sided bats (.264 wOBA), and he's been nasty against all bats in August. Over 5 starts, spanning 32 2/3 innings, Folty owns a 1.38 ERA, 2.49 FIP, and 28.4% strikeout rate.

Bote has been a nice source of pop, but he could be in for a long evening.
