Michael Conforto's salary keeps creeping upward, but that should only help deflate his ownership in a potentially lucrative spot against Dylan Bundy.

Bundy can twirl the occasional gem, but he's had massive issues with home runs, giving up a league-worst 2.07 dingers per nine innings among qualified starters. He's also only posting a 19.1% strikeout rate against lefties, while allowing a whopping .401 xwOBA.

As we mentioned in this space yesterday, Conforto has improved over the course of the season, and has now produced a 47.6% hard-hit rate and 40.0% fly-ball rate versus righties since the start of June. It hasn't quite translated to the power he demonstrated in 2017, but this is the perfect opponent to put those peripherals to the test. Throw in a hot night at Camden Yards, and Conforto makes for a compelling one-off in tournaments.
