Marwin Gonzalez, 2B, Houston Astros

The switch-hitting Marwin Gonzalez has exhibited far better numbers as a lefty-bat for his career, and flipping to the right side tonight with a tough matchup against Seattle Mariners ace James Paxton, Gonzalez could be in for another long evening.

This season as a righty, the utility player owns a mediocre .304 wOBA in 133 plate appearances, including a .145 isolated power (ISO). That doesn't inspire a ton of hope when you consider Paxton has held righty bats to a .260 wOBA and 31.3% strikeout rate.

Gonzalez is likely to command a premium lineup spot tonight for the 'Stros, but he just doesn't shape up as a great play.
