Jean Segura is enjoying another fine offensive season, creeping up on 20 stolen bases once again (he has 17 so far) while sitting just two homers shy of double-digits. Tonight, however, could be a tough evening to add to his offensive statistics.

Justin Verlander seems to be getting better in his age-35 season, and he's wiped out righties in 2018. Over 333 total batters faced, he's allowed only a .240 wOBA and 29.2% hard-hit rate, along with a 30.9% strikeout rate.

Segura has done a nice job as a table-setter for the offense, but he's one we need to pivot away from on a night like tonight.
