Dansby Swanson has returned in 2018 to be the starting shortstop for the Atlanta Braves, but offensively, it hasn't been the best of years. Facing stud Max Scherzer tonight, Swanson's offensive woes may continue.

Against right-handed pitching this year, Swanson has recorded only a .302 wOBA, and that's bad news against a pitcher who dominates right-handed bats. On the season, Scherzer has owned righties for a .242 wOBA and 36.6% strikeout rate.

In a big National League East showdown, Swanson looks like one to avoid.
