Jose Ramirez, 3B, Cleveland Indians

Jose Ramirez' 15.2 FanDuel points per game ranks second among qualifying hitters, and that comes thanks to his blend of power (tied for 1st with 33 home runs), speed (tied for 2nd with 26 steals) and scoring potential provided by the Cleveland offense (tied for 6th with 78 runs scored, 5th with 83 RBI).

A switch-hitter, he has been excellent from both sides of the plate. He has tagged southpaws for a 41.2% hard-hit and 42.6% fly-ball rate, and that positions him very well tonight against Adalberto Mejia and the Minnesota Twins.

Mejia has made four Major League starts in 2018, and while his 2.60 ERA may look impressive, he pairs it with an awful 5.57 SIERA, which brings his Big League career-average to only 5.07. The high-powered Cleveland offense should help drive that ERA up to where we might expect it to be based on Mejia's peripheral numbers, and that will create plenty of opportunity for Ramirez to rack up big fantasy points.
