Shohei Ohtani, OF, Los Angeles Angels

FanDuel Price; $3,200

Jacob Turner is one of the weakest arms of the evening, and were he not playing in Angel Stadium on a 14-game slate, the Los Angeles Angels would be far more popular tonight. But especially with Mike Trout remaining out, this west coast tilt could go overlooked.

A former top prospect many moons ago, Turner is still just 27 years old, but he's never been able to live up to that pedigree, holding a forgettable 5.26 ERA and 14.4% strikeout rate over 368 career major league innings. Since signing a minor league deal with the Detroit Tigers in June, he's posted a modest 4.01 ERA and 16.7% strikeout rate over 11 Triple-A starts -- hardly a sign that things will be different this time around. In his only Major League action this year, he was lit up for 10 earned runs over 4 relief appearances (5 2/3 innings) with the Miami Marlins back in April.

Trout or no Trout, this all points to a prime stacking situation, and Shohei Ohtani is one guy who could certainly benefit. Ohtani-mania has slowed down since his pitching injury, but as a batter he's still showing an impressive 41.8% hard-hit rate, .368 wOBA, and .253 ISO over 218 plate appearances. Combined with guys like Justin Upton ($3,000) and Kole Calhoun ($3,300), you can afford yourself a nice little Angels stack on the cheap.
