Lance Lynn, New York Yankees

Starts: August 6th at Chicago White Sox, August 10th vs. Texas Rangers
ESPN ownership: 33.0%

It might be too much to ask Lance Lynn to salvage a New York Yankees rotation that's been swamped with under-achievement, but the veteran righty certainly has a chance to help fantasy owners during his first week in pinstripes.

Lynn's two-step won't be a cakewalk, mind you -- he lines up in a pair of hitter-friendly parks, and given his overly generous 12.8% walk rate this season, there's a fair amount of downside here in the ratio categories. But with that comes a high strikeout ceiling, as the White Sox and Rangers are both positioned as the most strikeout-prone offenses against right handers over the last 30 days.

For all his struggles with populating the base paths this season, Lynn has posted strong marks in terms of swinging strikes and out-of-zone swings, so fantasy owners in need of punchouts might want to give the newest Yankee a long look in Week 19.
