Jurickson Profar, 3B, Texas Rangers

The Rangers are sure to be popular yet again tonight, and with good reason. They put up 17 runs last night against these same Orioles, and get to face another middling arm tonight in David Hess.

While Adrian Beltre tends to be the third basemen most frequently rostered from this squad, there is another hitter at the hot corner that should get our attention after a big night on Thursday. Jurickson Profar tends to go overlooked because Beltre is usually cheaper, and Beltre is, well, a future hall-of-famer. Profar actually has far superior numbers to his veteran teammate (outside of batting average), and has a major dose of power/speed upside (11 home runs, 8 steals).

Texas figures to blast a few long balls into the hot Arlington night against Hess, who is next in line among subpar Orioles hurlers. He's got a 5.94 ERA and has given up 11 bombs in only 50 innings of work. Expect that number to go up against Profar and the Rangers tonight.
