A catcher at minimum price could be tantalizing in general. A guy like Manny Pina could be especially tempting, as he's shown solid pop, with six home runs and a low 18.6% strikeout rate on the year.

Facing righty Dereck Rodriguez, who's been tough on same-sided bats this year, Pina looks like one to stay away from at the C/1B slot. In 2018, the rookie hurler has allowed only a .276 wOBA and 29.5% fly-ball rate to righties.

Pina has struggled in this same split; through 187 plate appearances in 2018, Pina has logged only a .285 wOBA and 33.8% hard-hit rate. Though the price is enticing, it's best to pay a little more at the position tonight.
