Nick Castellanos, OF, Detroit Tigers

Nick Castellanos got some love in this space yesterday, and while he didn't come through, the Detroit Tigers get another soft matchup, this time against Burch Smith. Smith shouldn't be long for this game. He's only thrown a combined 5 1/3 innings across his 2 starts, but he could still take some lumps, considering his poor 5.98 ERA and 46.4% hard-hit rate over 43 2/3 innings this season. Toss in a bottom of the barrel 4.55 SIERA for the Kansas City Royals' bullpen, and this could be a potentially lucrative evening for the Tigers.

As for Castellanos, he's showing a 49.1% hard-hit rate and 37.3% fly-ball rate versus right-handed pitching, helping him to a healthy .385 xwOBA in the platoon split. He remains reasonably priced, and given the size of the slate, he shouldn't garner much attention tonight.
