3 Under-the-Radar MLB FanDuel Plays for 7/9/18

With high implied team totals for the Boston Red Sox and Cleveland Indians on Monday night, the Los Angeles Dodgers might go lower-owned than they should in a great spot versus Luis Perdomo.

Perdomo was recalled from Triple-A last week, and over five MLB starts this season, he's mustered a mere 4.96 SIERA, 19.6% strikeout rate, and 12.8% walk rate. He's not showing his customary high ground-ball rate (40.9%), and despite some seemingly nice results in Triple-A, he ultimately posted an ugly 5.08 FIP across 11 starts.

Guys like Max Muncy and Joc Pederson should garner some attention at the top of the lineup, but don't overlook Yasmani Grandal, who continues to produce against right-handed pitching. Perdomo has allowed a career .361 wOBA to left-handed batters, so the switch-hitting Grandal will be happy to take advantage.

Grandal may not get the same attention as some of his teammates, but he's still posting a strong 39.6% hard-hit rate and 45.1% fly-ball rate against right-handed pitching, helping lead to a .245 ISO and .392 xwOBA. Be sure to stack those Dodgers in tournaments and add Grandal on the cheap.
