Buy Blake Snell

Somehow, the American League leader in ERA did not make the All-Star team. Huh.

Tampa Bay Rays starter Blake Snell has been awesome this season and is showing no signs of slowing down, so it's fascinating he wasn't even named to the Midsummer Classic when one could make the argument he should be starting the game. He'll likely get in if another pitcher has to drop out, but nonetheless, his 12-4 record in 19 starts and 2.09 ERA should have been enough to get the job done.

Snell still flies under the radar, but he has reached a new level this season with a strikeout rate that has jumped from 21.8% in 2017 to 28.8% this year. He's also cut down on his walks -- from 10.8% to 9.6% -- and opponents are hitting just .182 against him.

If you have some offensive surplus on your team and are looking for a great starter to help your rotation, Snell is the guy to target.
