Unfortunately for Turner, he's really excelled with the platoon advantage but will be faced with a same-sided arm tonight in Kyle Hendricks. On the year, over 91 plate appearances, Turner has struggled to a .257 wOBA and .118 isolated power (ISO). His ISO is just .147 dating back to the start of 2017 in the split, with just 6 home runs in 201 plate appearances at home.
Even though he's likely to hit in the third slot of the Los Angeles Dodgers' lineup, it may be best to look elsewhere at the third base position.
