Hunter Renfroe, OF, San Diego Padres

After an ugly 105 1/3 innings pitched last season (6.41 ERA), Anibal Sanchez could be a popular pitcher to pick on tonight on a short slate.

But one guy we may want to avoid on the San Diego Padres is cleanup man Hunter Renfroe. In the young slugger's 617 plate appearance career, he has mashed southpaws for a .421 wOBA and 1.031 OPS, but he has had a harder time with righties (.293 wOBA and .691 OPS).

Sanchez has also picked up the pace in 2018, holding hitters to a 22.9% hard-hit rate. All of this adds up to pivoting off of Renfroe tonight.
